Who we are...

Are you a fan of design? Fashion? Art? Architecture? 60's & 70's TV and Film? European classic cars? We are super fans of all of these. We are Sunday Drivers New York Grand Tours and we'd like to meet you! Come check out our collection. Better yet, come drive one!

WHY WE ARE...

As we dawn on an age of driverless cars and continue to exist in an age of design-less ones, Sunday Drivers New York Grand Tours is striving to put the driver back in control, with elegance and style.

As we surveyed the rental car landscape options, of which there are quite a few, we felt there  was something missing. Sure, you can rent high-end supercars. Yes, you can rent classic American muscle cars. There are also exclusive "Members Only" clubs you can join which will give you a little of both. But the cars we wanted to drive, the cars from our favorite TV shows and films we grew up watching. The ones we grew up passing parked on the street. The ones we day dreamed about were just not available to drive without purchasing and most likely restoring, until now.

Now you can enjoy classic motoring again without the hassle of ownership. Sunday Drivers New York Grand Tours is a collection of vehicles carefully curated from a time when designers were free of government regulations. A time that allowed them to design rolling pieces of art, instead of focusing on "crumple zones" or how to fit an airbag into a steering wheel. Not that we think these safety features are bad, they aren't, but they do come at a price. That price, was the loss of intricate details, that made the cars of that time beautiful and sexy. They had distinction.

So if you are a person of distinction, or want to be, come take a tour with us.

WHAT WE ARE...

Sunday Drivers New York Grand Tours provides organized 3-4 hour tours, for groups of up to six drivers. Routes will include eastern Nassau and western Suffolk roads of Long Island, New York. Enjoy scenic two lane causeways driving along the south shore with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Great South Bay on the other.

Once on the north shore you will find yourself motoring through one lane quaint towns. We will connect the two by getting the cars up to speed with some highway driving. Predesignated rest stops will allow for drivers to switch vehicles to experience all the cars.

Remember this is a tour, not a race, so we will always maintain posted speed limits. Besides, we at Sunday Drivers New York Grand Tours care more about looking good, than going fast.
